Men's Therapy  ·  Los Angeles

Men's Therapy & Counseling in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles sells the dream of having it all figured out. But behind the scenes, a lot of men in this city are dealing with things they don't talk about, relationship strain, career uncertainty, the pressure to perform, or habits that have gotten out of control. If the gap between how things look and how they feel keeps widening, it might be time to talk to someone who gets it.

The reality

You're Not Alone In This.

LA has a culture of optimization, biohacking, cold plunges, meditation apps, but none of that replaces the work of actually sitting with what's going on inside. A lot of men here have tried everything except talking to someone.

Maybe you're in entertainment, and the instability is wearing you down. Maybe you're grinding in tech or real estate, and the pressure never lets up. Maybe your relationship is suffering because you've been pouring everything into work, leaving nothing for the people who matter.

Whatever it is, you don't need to have the perfect reason to start therapy. You just need to be ready for something to shift.

Issues we help

What we work on, together.

Men across LA, from the Westside to the Valley, downtown to the South Bay, come to Anchor Men’s Therapy when something in their life isn't working. Here's what we help with most often.

What changes

Drop the Performance. Do the Real Work.

Los Angeles rewards image. But therapy isn't about looking good, it's about being honest. The men who get the most out of working with us are the ones who are willing to stop managing the narrative and start dealing with what's actually going on.

That's not a fantasy. That's what happens when a man decides to do the work.

  • Be fully honest with a male therapist who won't judge the real you
  • Develop tools for managing stress, anger, and emotional disconnection
  • Build stronger relationships by learning to be present and vulnerable
  • Break cycles, whether it's an addiction, avoidance, or self-sabotage

Our story

Why I Started Anchor Men's Therapy.

Most men don't get a personal invitation to start therapy. So I built one.

Anchor Men's Therapy was founded for two reasons.

Personal experience

As a man, I understand how easy it is to carry stress, pressure, and internal struggles alone. My own experience with therapy showed me how powerful the right support can be in helping regain clarity, balance, and stability.

Professional perspective

Through years of working closely with therapists across North America with Marketing Well, I observed a growing demand from men seeking help, alongside a persistent shortage of male-focused therapy options and male therapists available to support them.

Many men find comfort in speaking with professionals who closely understand the unique challenges men often face, from identity and purpose to stress, relationships, and emotional well-being.

Anchor Men's Therapy was created to provide that space.

The Anchor difference

Therapy that meets men where they are.

Male Therapists Who Get It.

Every therapist on our team is a man. So the cultural shorthand around work, fatherhood, identity and pressure doesn't need explaining from scratch.

Confidential & Judgment-Free.

No assumptions about what you should be feeling. No corporate jargon. Just secular, evidence-based therapy in a space where you can say the things you've been holding back.

Built Specifically for Men.

Our model, our clinicians, our intake. Every part of the practice was designed around how men actually engage with therapy when it's a fit.

The team

Meet Our Male Therapists & Counselors in Los Angeles.

Anchor's therapists are all male, because men tend to do their best therapeutic work when they feel a natural sense of understanding from the person across from them. Our LA-serving therapists have experience with the unique pressures of this city, from industry volatility to the particular loneliness that comes with a car-centric, image-driven culture.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions.

Sessions are fully online over secure video. No fighting LA traffic to get to an office. You can connect from home, your car (parked, of course), or anywhere you have privacy. Sessions fit around your schedule, including evening and weekend availability.

Industry stress and career instability are common, especially for men in entertainment, tech, and real estate. We also work with a lot of men dealing with relationship issues, anxiety, porn addiction, anger, and the identity confusion that comes when your sense of self is tied to what you do for a living.

Research consistently shows that online therapy is as effective as in-person for most issues. Many men actually prefer it; there's a comfort in being in your own space that makes it easier to open up, especially at first.

We focus exclusively on men, and every therapist on our team is male. That means you're not just getting a therapist, you're getting someone who intuitively understands the pressures, expectations, and internal conflicts that come with being a man. No explaining, no translating, just real work.

If you're asking the question, that's usually a sign. Most men who come to us aren't in crisis, they just feel like something's off. Maybe it's tension in your relationship, stress that never goes away, a habit that's gotten out of hand, or a general sense of being stuck. All of those are valid reasons to start.

Yes. Porn and sex addiction are among the most common issues men bring to us, and one of the hardest to talk about. Our therapists create a shame-free space where you can address these patterns honestly and start building healthier habits.
